Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop new web applications per technical specifications, as well as maintain and improve on existing packaged and customized applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing C# ASP.NET 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0 based web applications
- Perform complete testing of web applications and sites, including cross browser/OS compatibility, and cultural standards, localization, engaging users as necessary.
- Develop logic, build from scratch and maintain customer analytical reports (both ad-hoc and scheduled) using MS SQL and Excel
- Write and run complex queries using SQL to validate data and investigate discrepancies, build/augment reporting functionality, develop systematic processes to routinely maintain and update data.
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations (dashboarding) through data interpretation and analysis integrating various data sources.
- Candidate must be a team player, however self-starting and able to work independently with a willingness to teach and to learn.
- Candidate must be able to communicate with technical and non-technical teams to effectively identify requirements and build specifications.
SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE:
- Critical: Must possess strong skills in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET 2.0, 3.5 & 4.0 development environment. 3-4 year MINIMUM working experience.
- Working knowledge of globalization in the .Net Framework including threading
- Strong understanding and real working experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Working of Github, Visual Studio 2013 or above.
- Must have strong working experience/understanding of MS SQL Server 2008 and TSQL, stored procedures, database schema.
- Strong experience in HTML XHTML, XML JavaScript, JQuery, SOAP, and AJAX, REST
- Strong working experience in CSS 2.1 standards.
- Experience in using SQL Server management studio 2015, 2017, 2018
- Experience in dealing with international markets (currency, specifications, etc) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science Required
