Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our admissions team. The primary responsibility of this role is to connect with prospective parents and students through the leads provided by the company, understand their educational requirements, counsel them about our online schooling programs and successfully convert inquiries into student enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective parents and students through company-provided leads via phone calls.
  • Explain the features, curriculum, and benefits of our online schooling programs (Nursery to Grade 12).
  • Understand the educational needs of parents and recommend suitable academic programs.
  • Conduct effective counselling sessions and address all queries related to admissions, curriculum, fees, examinations, and learning methodology.
  • Follow up regularly with interested prospects to maximize enrollment conversions.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and update the CRM on a daily basis.
  • Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets assigned by the management.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective families and provide an excellent customer experience throughout the admission process.
  • Coordinate with the Admissions, Operations, and Academic teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for enrolled students.
  • Participate in training sessions, sales meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure timely submission of daily activity reports and sales updates.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of outbound calls made daily.
  • Lead-to-admission conversion ratio.
  • Monthly enrollment target achievement.
  • Revenue generated through admissions.
  • Follow-up effectiveness and response time.
  • CRM data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Customer satisfaction during the admission process.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasion, negotiation, and counselling abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport with parents and students.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets.
  • Good follow-up and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eligibility

  • Graduate in any discipline 
  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Inside Sales, Telecalling or Admissions Counselling. 
  • Experience in the EdTech, Education, Online Learning or School Admissions industry will be preferred.
  • Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales may also apply.
