Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D piping designsand layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D for projects in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Industrial Facilities.
- Create and deliver Piping General Arrangement (GA)drawings, isometric drawings, and spool drawings.
- Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM)and Material Take-Offs (MTO) from the models.
- Perform piping routing, modeling, and clash detection using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) to ensure integration and coordination of piping systems.
- Conduct model reviews with clients and resolve design-related issues.
- Support the project team during the fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and as-built records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degreein Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 yearsof experience in piping design, specifically using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Proficiency in 3D piping design, isometric generation, and clash detectionusing AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Strong understanding of piping components, materials, and related standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
- Knowledge of P&IDdevelopment and interpretation.
- Experience with equipment modelingand integration into piping systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in EPC projects(Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
- Familiarity with tools like Navisworksfor clash detection and model review.
